Representative Stansbury Calls for Investigation into FBI Records Linking Trump and Epstein to Minor Abuse Allegations

U.S. Representative Melanie Stansbury is pushing for transparency regarding a 2016 FBI tip involving serious allegations against President Donald Trump and the late Jeffrey Epstein. The document, recently released by the Department of Justice, details a report from an attorney representing an anonymous victim, «Jane Doe,» who claims she was sexually exploited at the age of 13.

The tip alleges that the victim was lured to New York under the pretense of a modeling opportunity, only to be forced into sexual acts during parties hosted by Epstein and attended by Trump. Most disturbingly, the report cites a threat of lethal violence intended to silence the minor, allegedly telling her they would «make [her] disappear.» While a civil complaint was initiated in 2016, it is unclear if the targets were ever formally served before the case stalled.

As a member of the House Oversight Committee, Stansbury is advocating for a deeper congressional inquiry, potentially utilizing subpoenas to uncover why these leads were not pursued further. It is important to note that the FBI files in question consist of uncorroborated tips rather than verified evidence of criminal conduct. At present, President Trump faces no legal charges or active investigations related to these specific decade-old claims.
